Chinese Braised Chicken

Instructions: Place 1/2 cup chopped onion in bottom of Crockpot liner. Add chicken. Be sure to remove ALL visible fat! Combine water, soy sauce, chopped ginger, sugar and garlic. Pour over all. Add the other 1/2 cup chopped onion. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
