Season hens with salt and pepper. In a medium saucepan, melt butter and sauté onion. Add remaining ingredients and heat until preserves melt, bringing to a boil. Arrange hens in baking pan and pour sauce over hens. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes at 350ºF. basting frequently. Serve over rice. Spoon sauce over hens
